The Translational Research Hub (TRH) fosters translational research community collaborations by educating clinicians, researchers, and trainees in biospecimen acquisition, processing, biobanking, and multi-omics technologies. TRH provides study design consultations for investigators, biobanking services, genomics-optimized sample processing, data management and bioinformatics support. TRH offers services in data analysis and biological interpretation as well as vouchers to support early-stage projects.

Translational Research Hub experts provide individual and small group consultations to translational investigators and clinicians on study design and advise on employing molecular technologies for translational research projects.
BRIDGE Laboratory
The BRIDGE (Bridging translational Research Infrastructure, Data analytics, and Genomics) laboratory provides biomarker data generation (RT-qPCR genotyping/gene expression, Mesoscale ELISA assays), molecular assays, cell culture, tissue embedding, DNA/RNA extraction and facilitation of data generation by next generation sequencing providers.
Center for Computational Biology & Bioinformatics (CCBB)
ACTRI's CCBB unit is a collaborative center that provides investigators with bioinformatics expertise to analyze large molecular datasets and develop novel algorithms. The center offer expertise in genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, systems biology and translational medicine. Services include data analysis, biological interpretation, grant writing and training.
ACTRI Biobank & Data Management
The ACTRI Biobank has expertise, state-of-the-art lab facilities and equipment for biorepository maintenance, archive and biospecimen distribution. The ACTRI Biobank facilities include secure storage of biospecimens in physically-secured, late model, remotely monitored mechanical and liquid nitrogen freezers, inventory management utilizing modern LIMS software (Freezerworks), barcoding, and 24-hour emergency response.
