On World Refugee Day, June 20th, we celebrate the resilience of refugees and reaffirm their right to safety and dignity. This year, we spotlight the challenges faced by Afghan refugees and the crucial support they need upon arriving in the U.S. To address these needs, the ACTRI Center for Community Health Refugee Health Unit's Afghan Refugee School Impact (ARSI) & Afghan Youth Mentoring (AYM) Program has developed an asset map to connect Afghan refugees with essential services in their new communities. This comprehensive resource directory helps refugees find support for resettlement, education, healthcare, and employment.
