The Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI), an organized research unit established to provide education, training, and infrastructure for clinical research in UC San Diego Health Sciences. It encompasses four hospital systems, two universities and four biomedical research organizations. The ACTRI provides clinical and translational research support across a wide collaboration of units. The ACTRI is highly collaborative with affiliations that stretch across UC San Diego and San Diego State University to the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute and the Salk Institute, to Rady Children’s Hospital and the VA San Diego Health Care System, to nonprofit and biotech/pharma.
COMMUNITY HEALTH PROJECT MANAGER
The Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI) Center for Community Health (CCH), which focuses on improving community health and eliminating health disparities is seeking a project manager to support the development, operation and administrative activities of the Community Council’s projects and programs that relate to community engagement, coalition building, and community-based policy and systems work.
CLINICAL TRIALS COORDINATOR
Under supervision, the Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator will be assigned to coordinate multiple federally funded and industry sponsored research studies involving human subjects that are being conducted in the CTRI and at other locations.
DATA SYSTEMS ANALYST
The Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute (ACTRI) unit for Biomedical Informatics (BMI) is seeking a data systems analyst to apply advanced technical expertise for system integration and engineering to support the needs of the ACTRI groups, and related multiple health research and development activities.
BUSINESS FINANCE ANALYST
Under general supervision of the finance manager, the business finance analyst will provide financial management, administration, and reporting for the ACTRI and clinical research administration (e.g. Office of Coverage Analysis Administration, Office of Clinical Trials Administration, Office of IRB Administration, etc.).
